A top international school in Singapore, International French School (Singapore) aims at providing students with opportunities for personal development, beyond academic success. As part of this mission, the school wishes to convert certain locations in the school into alternative spaces to the classroom or the playground, and provide children with a safe space to relax, learn or connect with others.

ielo design partnered with IFS to conceptualise and showcase the approach and experience for these corners. We then developed a pilot space, the Creative Corner, from the design to the coordination of the construction. This room is a for kids to take over and collaborate to create ever-evolving art, in a collective experience that fosters emotional intelligence.
